The diagrams below show two warehouse monitoring applications using CIMScan. The estimated cost for the components is shown with each. No special enclosures, installation materials, or wiring devices are included. It is assumed that the physical installation, commissioning, and formal validation (if required) will be performed by the customer.

A CIMScan system consists of one or more remote devices that gather measurement information and send it to a server computer over an existing LAN or the Internet. We can host your system on one of our servers for a fee beginning at $35 per month, or you can purchase a license to install the server software on your Windows computer. The cost for the use license depends on the size of the system and begins at $2,200.

Monitoring Temperature and Humidity in a Warehouse

The diagram below shows the temperature and relative humidity being monitored at 14 locations in a pharmaceutical distribution warehouse. A mapping study was performed to determine where the sensors should be located. Up to 40 low cost CT-15 sensors could have been easily accommodated if necessary.

Wireless Temperature Monitoring in a Large Warehouse

Thirty-one (31) PQ-24 wireless temperature sensor with dual probes are used to monitor the large pharmaceutical distribution site shown in the diagram below. Each sensor measures the temperature at 8 feet above the floor and again at 24 feet. The cold room has 4 temperature probes suspended from the ceiling. The freezer is monitored with 2 probes, also suspended from the ceiling.
