The diagrams below show a number of remote site monitoring applications for CIMScan. The cost for the components that we provide (marked by an asterisk) is shown with each. No special enclosures, installation materials, or wiring devices are included. It is assumed that the physical installation, commissioning, and formal validation (if required) will be performed by the customer.
A CIMScan system consists of one or more remote devices that gather measurement information and send it to a server computer over a cellular telephone system or the Internet. We can host your system on one of our servers for a small fee beginning at $35 per month, or you can purchase a license to install the server software on your Windows computer. The cost for a use license depends on the size of the system and begins a $2,200.
We suggest that you download and review the white paper describing how the CIMScan system works to fully understand each of the following sections.
Monitoring at an Aquaculture Site
This example shows monitoring the water temperature and dissolved oxygen at a remote site used to raise fish or shrimp. Sensors could be easily added to monitor suspended solid, pH, salinity, feed rates, etc. Multiple remote locations at the same site could be linked to the server through a common eLink.
Monitoring using the Cellular Telephone Network
Three examples of remote monitoring using the cellular telephone network are shown in the diagrams below.
