The diagrams below show a few Cleanroom applications of the CIMScan monitoring system. The cost for what we provide is shown with each. No special enclosures or installation/wiring materials are included. Although we can provide these services if desired, we are assuming that the physical installation, commissioning, and formal validation (if required) will be performed by the customer.
A CIMScan system consists of one or more remote devices that gather measurement information and send it to a server computer over an existing LAN or the Internet. We can host your system on one of our servers for a fee beginning at $35 per month, or you can purchase a license to install the server software on your Windows computer. The cost for a license depends on the size of the system and begins at $2,200.
We suggest that you download and review the white paper describing how the CIMScan system works for cleanroom monitoring to fully understand each of the following examples.
Monitoring Temperature, Humidity and Pressure in 16 Cleanrooms The diagram below shows sixteen cleanrooms used for pharmaceutical packaging. Temperature, humidity, and differential pressure are monitored in each room. A single DA-07 eLink us used to forward the measurement information to the server via the facility’s local area network (LAN).
Monitoring a Cleanroom with Eight (8) Particle Counters Eight (8) Airy Technology P231 Particle Counters along with two (2) CS-10 Temp/RH Sensors and six (6) CS-22 Differential Pressure Sensors are used to monitor the cleanroom shown below. A vacuum source will be required to implement this system.
Monitoring an IV Preparation Cleanroom in a Hospital Pharmacy The diagram below shows a typical hospital pharmacy IV preparation cleanroom area. Both positive and negative pressure rooms are being monitored. A portable particle counter is used to periodically sample each of the cleanrooms and the anteroom. These measurements can be easily uploaded to the server and stored in CIMScan’s historical database using a simple PC and the data upload application.
