"Six-Pack" System
|
|
|
The "Six Pack" will continuously monitor and record
the temperature in up to 6 refrigerators or freezers and optionally
monitor door ajar contacts on each unit. The system will alert users
to alarm or abnormal conditions via a local alarm indicator or
e-mail messages. The most recent 3-5 years of measurement data is
retained in non-volatile storage for instant access or archiving to
a file or files on a computer. Current conditions can be viewed or
reports generated at any time from any PC on the facility's local
area network using free software provided

Systems Shipped Ready to Install, Validate, and Run
|
|
|
The Six-Pack system comes pre-configured and ready to run, right out
of the box. Installation can be easily accomplished with the
instructions included in the package. Essential validation protocols
are also provided. CIMTechniques can also provide installation and
validation services if desired.
The Six-Pack is built on proven CIMScan monitoring system
technology. The first CIMScan system was shipped in 1995 and has
been continuously improved ever since. |

Completely Secure,
Self-Contained
System
|
|
|
All measurement data,
including events logs, audit trails, alarm lists, etc., are
maintained internally for a period of from 3 to 5 years, depending
on the number of events recorded. None of this information can be
altered in any way. Access to view the data or configure the system
is under strict ID/Password control. Passwords can be set to
automatically expire and unique Public Names and ID/Passwords
combinations are enforced over the life of the system. Every
externally initiated activity is recorded in an audit trail which
can be viewed at any time. |
|
View Real-Time Displays from any PC
|
|
|
Display the current values of any of the monitoring points from any
PC on the facility's local area network. (Of course, this is
under password control.) The following is a screenshot of a
typical real-time display.

Alert Key Personnel
through E-Mail
|
|
|
Specific personnel can be
immediately alerted to impending or actual problems via e-mail
messages. Messages can be triggered by alarm or warning conditions,
a door that has been left open for a longer the specified period of
time, or any faults detected by the system. |
|
All Necessary
Reports Built-in
|
|
|
Daily, weekly, and monthly
status reports containing 1) a chart showing the measurement data
with limit lines displayed, 2) statistics (max, min, and average)
for each measurement point, 3) a summary of all alarm limit changes,
and 4) a list of any alarms that were detected. Ad hoc status
reports can also be printed over any user-specified period of time
as well as the contents of event logs, audit trails, alarm lists,
etc. A complete report of the system configuration can also be
printed at any time.

Either Wired or
Wireless Sensors
|
|
|
The Six-Pack monitoring
system can either use a range of easy to install wireless sensors or
our standard I/O Pods. The wireless sensors are completely battery
operated with a typical service life of 3-5 years. Sensors can be
located up to 480' feet from the receiver (600' with the PV-02
receiver). A variety of temperature, temp/RH, and door ajar sensors
are available.
The standard I/O Pods interface directly with thermistors and RTD's
as well as 4-20 ma signal conditioners, and communicate with the
Six-Pack controller over a dual twisted pair cable. The Pods are
powered from the uninterruptible power supply. |
