CIMScan's I/O Pods are self-contained data acquisition units that communicate with all models of CIMTechniques’ distributed I/O controllers via a high speed serial data link called PodNet. The Pods are typically powered from the controller, but can be individually driven from any unregulated +10 to +30 Vdc source.
